Pinterest: McDonald’s is Lovin’ It

McDonald’s has caught the Pinning fever, join #PinChat tonight at 9PM ET to learn how they are getting started on Pinterest.

Lizzie Roscoe is the manager of social media at McDonald’s Corp and is a member of the global digital communications team.   Her primary responsibilities include community engagement & editorial content for McDonald’s corporate social channels, including Pinterest.  She has worked at McDonald’s for almost seven years in the social media, media relations & investor relations departments, communicating with stakeholders, the media & consumers. Prior to her career at McDonald’s, Lizzie worked in the communications department at Playboy Enterprises & as part of the production team at the Jerry Springer Show.  She’ll have plenty of interesting stories to share with the grandkids someday!

As much as Lizzie enjoys chatting with people on Twitter & being a brand ambassador for McDonald’s, her favorite “job” is being mom to her two kids, ages 7 & 4.  She also likes hanging out with her husband, reading anything & everything, and watching football (Go Cowboys!). Lizzie loves Grimace & McDonalds food (especially the Shamrock Shake & French fries), but the best part of her job is the people she works with everyday.

She can be found on Twitter at @Lizzie_McD & you can learn more about her & the McDonald’s Corp Twitter team at http://www.aboutmcdonalds.com/mcd/newsroom/mcdonaldscorp_twitter_contacts.html
