Snap a Pic and Pin It

Did you know that you can add Pins to Pinterest from your camera?

You can easily add Pins to Pinterest with the mobile app using your camera.

A Facebook post in the PinChat group by Beki Winchel inspired this How to Snap a Pic and Pin It from the Pinterest mobile app.

Launch the Pinterest mobile app and then select the plus (+) add button to Add a Pin

Select Add Pin

Where do you want to Pin from? Select: Camera

Where Do You Want to Pin From

You can then choose an existing photo from your camera roll or take a picture

Choose from Camera Roll

Select the Board you would like to Pin the image to

Pick A Board

Add a description to your Pin and then Pin It

You can also go back and add a source link for the image. 

Some reasons to Pin from your camera:

  • Pin images to Secret boards that you want to shop for later
  • See something that inspires you (floral arrangement) take a pic and Pin to your craft board
  • Take pics at an event and live Pin
  • Buyers at fashion week could share pics from the runway to a Secret Board and get feedback on what to order or they could share the images with fans and get their opinions
  • High Point Market Style Spotters Pinned images during furniture market for a contest
