About our guests:
Jen Shetterly: If you’ve ever enjoyed the sensation of being in a grassy field while booting up a PC, you can thank Jen Shetterly for the look and feel she created for Windows XP. She drove efforts to simplify and innovate for some of Microsoft’s most successful products including Internet Explorer, Windows, Office, and MSN and designed features that set the standards for Microsoft products today. As a user experience designer, Shetterly is often brought in to reimagine a product’s user experience from the ground up, bringing twenty years of brand development, interaction design, graphic design and design strategy to the table. At PicMonkey, she masterminds the user flow from start to save, visualizes the Monkey in multiple flavors, and drives a crack team of designers to continually push the edge of creative innovation.
Jaree Wolfe: Jaree Wolfe contributes her design talents practically every aspect of PicMonkey.com, from workhorse fundamentals like the share experience to effects, fonts, textures, and images shared on PicMonkey’s Pinterest board. Wolfe holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree in graphic design, and spent 15 years designing the user experience for Microsoft’s core products, such as Office, Money, Windows LIve, and Messenger. She enjoys digital photography and participates in Seattle’s vibrant community via occasional night photography strolls.
Jenn Wells: A good listener and a people pleaser, Jenn Wells was a natch for the customer service jobs that kicked off her career. Her first great job was working at the legendary Elliott Bay Book Company, where she developed her customer love mojo. Wells moved to TeachStreet.com, a tech startup that helped lifelong learners connect with independent teachers. When TeachStreet closed their doors, PicMonkey got the best community outreach specialist in this hemisphere.
